Orange Radio

The inspiration for the orange radio was the crystal radio. Its simple construction consists of merely four pieces: an antenna, headphones, a diode, and grounding. What is exceptional, however, is that it functions without an additional power source. Because of the simple construction of the radio, the radio stations which can be heard the loudest are those which are transmitting the strongest. To amplify the signal and to operate the radio with a loudspeaker, the design of the orange-radio was expanded to include a bicycle dynamo and additional orange batteries.
